There was NO black eye to boxing, if anything, it brought more attention to boxing, in a good way. Floyd dominated and knocked Victor spark out. Good performence, it got media attention all over the world, hardly bad for boxing.

Running is what Khan did against Maidana when he was hurt. Using footwork, head movement, counter punching etc isn't running

Nah brah... Margo was losing the 9th BAD. He wasn't really landing much and when he did, it was ineffective as cotto did a lot better. cotto was tagging margo without much resistance with hard right hands. I disagree about this one -- that eye was imparing his fighting ability to see cotto.

 

His eye wasn't closed like that. In the pac fight the fight shouldve been stopped in the 9th, heck it should've been stopped maybe earlier considering the injury he sustained. The mosley fight, there wasnt big tissue/fracturing of bones.. mosley just hits so hard he rattled margos brains and he was falling all over the place.

 

margarito had absolutely NO SNAP left in his punches, which would be fine if he'd had some plaster in there, but you know how **** goes....
It's one thing to smile and run across the ring to make it look like you're doing something. Fact of the matter is he was done.

 

I dont care what margo said, some of those punches hurt him, there was a round in particular where you could see it. it wasnt like the first fight, where cotto's punches didn't even move him... looked like baby taps. cotto's right is far more powerful.
