I don't find Buakaw any more exciting than Petrosyan...He's EVERY bit as much of a decision monster. And I thought Petrosyan vs Pinca was quite entertaining...Definately not a boring fight and both guys were going hard. Buakaw is only aggressive when he fights bums (and just about all of his recent opponents have been bums exclusing Askerov....who he ran away from) anytime he fights a tough high level guy he is boring and fights for points.
LOL!!!! The Thais are some of the biggest boring point fighters out there...If anything the Dutch are the real ones that comes to destroy....the vast majority of Thais are safe boring point fighters (not that I have any problem with this type of fighting)....even more so than Petrosyan If you actullay watched Petrosyans fights he almost always is on the attack and being aggressive against Thais/Thai stylists....it's only when he fights aggressive Dutch guys that he counters and plays for a decision. LOL I never thought I would hear the words "balls out" and most Thai fighters in the same sentence. What a joke Petrosyan is boring compared to the aggressive Dutch brawlers like Kraus and Roosmalen....but it's hilarious that the guy calls Petro boring but than says I "prefer the more balls out approach of Thais"....LOL Thais are usually not aggressive fighters at all and Petrosyan is definitely more aggressive than most Thais.....Yes, you have Saiyok and a few others that are exceptions but most Thais do not have an aggressive come forward style....The Dutch are alot more aggressive fighters than the Thais.
welcome to esboxing forum Animal. I see what you mean about the thai's to an extent but their are many agressive fighters in thailand more than just Saiyok. ekpracha, the lek(many of the youngsters) khem, rungravee, Sittichai, anuwat, bovy, ect. Of course you go back in the day you have Ramba, wangjannoi, orono ect ect. Usually the thais are more reserved waiting for the later rounds to step it up but once those elbows start flying **** gets dirty.
This content is protected Welcome to the forum Animal, and what a debut you've made. I don't even know where to start with all this madness so I'm very tempted not to bother. Just exactly how much Muay Thai have you seen? It seems not very much.:conf
It's a welcome also from me to animalfan10 :hi: Fortunately animalfan1 through to 9 never found their way here
no, not a troll. Just strongly opinionated with a preference for kickboxing over Muaythai. Animalfan10 posts regularly on the K-1 section of sherdog forums and has good contributions. The K-1 subforum is the best section of sherdog, and is full of good posters( rob cox & john wyane parr post there) but also a few trolls.
