The first two times I was still angry about the outcome of it, GGG clearly won, but now I got past the fact that it was a robbery and I have to tell you it is one of the best fight of the decade so far, watching it back. I don't remember the last top class fight with so many highlight reel punches, both guys landed about 6 or 7 punches that would have knocked anyone else out, I had it 116-112 on all three viewings though I was impressed with Canelo and his amazing counter punching, they had some fantastic exchanges in there, both guys have absolute granite chins and it's hard to see either of them being KOed. For me it beats Klitschko vs Joshua, yes, Klit Josh had more drama in it but other than round 5,6 and 11 it wasnt an amazing fight, GGG vs Canelo, pretty much every round except the first was fantastic, especially round 12 where both guys just traded for most of it.
I want what you're smoking. It was ok, but the magnitude of this matchup demanded a LOT more action and drama. It provided neither whereas Joshua-Klit did with multiple knock downs and huge punches from very big guys. And in addition it was a disputed decision. Not a a robbery imo. Whereas the he bout had a dramatic and conclusive ending and the end of a career.
It was a fine fight , spoiled by corrupt judging. Probably the two best chins in boxing at the moment.
Refreshing to see honesty such as this. In reality 8-4 GGG is giving Cucknelo every benefit of doubt and anything closer is simply mind boggling to me.
