In ring focus and composure - the Mosley fight is a good example. Despite being hurt more than he ever has been in his entire career, Mayweather didn't panic. He kept his composure, stayed focused, and even came back to win the remainder of the round. Same thing happened against Corely.

Ability to adjust - was being out boxed by Judah, until he adjusted. Hatton's ruggedness was troubling him just a bit until he adjusted. Contrary to popular belief, De La Hoya didn't abandon the jab...Floyd just rendered it useless.

Defense - in 42 fights, one has to look hard to find instances where he has been hit with flush shots. I'm talking about hard, hammering shots. He has been hit with them only a handful of times in his whole career. His D isn't as flashy as Whitaker's was, but its just as, if not more effective.

Other thing he does good is find excuses to make people believe he don't want fight.

Pacquiao would knock Mayweather out. Pac throws lot of punches and is faster with better footwork.

Floyd does not fight top fighters..only has beens.

I laughed out loud at your second choice. Yeah, Floyd has seen so much adversity throughout his career that he would often need to adjust. Yawny mcyawn.

I think the first two your extremely overrating him. If he's supposedly better adjus ting then anyone in history you should be able to cite more than two examples, which were both fairly one sided fights. I attribute the change in the Judah fight to the fact that Judah is and has always been a front runner. He does great in the opening rounds then he quits. He did the same thing against Cotto and many others. Hatton was one-sided from the opening bell.

As for the 3rd, he's definitely one of the best defensive fighters ever. He's got some amazing statistics for not getting hit but when you consider the full package of defense and counterpunching, I think there are better examples then Floyd.

Saying he does anything better then anyone in boxing history is stretching it considering he's never fought another ATG in their prime. His compubox #'s are amazing, but compubox is proven to be flawed. Not hating, just speaking facts.

Mayweather has the best defence in boxing history IMO. And his accuracy and connection percentage is higher than anybodys.

Fights where he could have potentially been upset, he wasn't, because of his ability to adjust. You can't say that about a lot of atg fighters.
