Apparently after the fight Arum said he had never seen Martinez fight before...he may be having a long look at the matchmaker.

However, hard to fault him for taking the fight as there was some money behind it. The ideal situation would be that out of all those weak mandatories at least one of them would move so he could get rounds under his belt against a guy who he should beat easily with a style that makes him work.

Stay away from smart boxers, stick to fighting the Jermain Taylors of the world.

Is Martinez not a Spaniard by blood, if not by birth? Hence, he would be a white guy, you tool.

A new manager(his Father does this presently,if I am not mistaken)

A new trainer.Poor Jack has been exposed in the Hopkins fight and had no plan B for Sergio.

A match maker who knows the sport and won't put him in with stylish speedsters.

I don't understand this. When Pavlik fights easier opponents, he gets slated. When he takes on a stylistically difficult challenge and puts himself in harm's way, he should be avoiding guys like Martinez and sticking to the Locketts and Rubios?

1; Cameron Dunkin is Pavlik's co-manager. He handles the boxing end, and Mike Pavlik only handles the business end. Unlike a lot of boxers, Pavlik has a business manager who actually cares about his well being.

2; Whether we like it, or we don't like it, we're stuck with Jack Leow. Pavlik will never leave him. Miguel Diaz has worked Pavlik's corner a couple dozen times dating back to his very first fight. Since we're stuck with Leow, I would like to see Diaz play a much larger roll.

3; I'd like to see people just STOP IT with the bad match making routine. Pavlik chose both Hopkins and Martinez. Not Top Rank, or HBO, or anyone else. Those were Pavlik's choices.
