The issue here is that the kidney failure part is just some **** you invented. Saline is one possible way to treat dehydration. Floyd disclosed it to USADA before he did it. That makes me assume they gave him verbal approval since he wouldn’t gamble with a violation for something so trivial. Then they gave the formal approval after. This is consistent with treating an acute condition since the treatment needs to be immediate and the bureaucracy can lag behind. There are far better diuretics and masking agents if that were actually his intent. Saline is not a PED.

Celestone, on the other hand, is a PED because it allows for inhuman recovery during training. Manny got approved for it, but he was still using a steroid-based WADA banned PED.
