3 Year Anniversary of Wilder being HW Champion

I seriously hope Wikipedia put in caveats to their professional boxing record entry for Wilder.

Something like "* - yeah the record looks quite good on the face of it but look closer at the quality of his opposition. Fat/shot/C level pastry chefs/special needs teachers/football players/polish hooligans. Doesn't look so great now does it.".

That way future generations will be better informed about this "champ".

No HW has ever held a major belt this long, and been this unproven as a fighter. No HW fighter has ever had a belt three years, and still not been able to be called with credibility an ATG.

It's a sad day in HW history.

 

Also has one of the best mandibles and is a great defensive wizard. I'd put his defensive skills slightly above Floyd's.

This is why term belt holder is better. Their should be only one champ. Everyone else is a contender and a guy who has faced 1 top 10 opponent in 40 fights has no right to be called champ in the glamour division.

 

He's to Klitschko or any other legendary champion for that matter that Gotti was to Carlo Gambino. The facade of being champion or the best in the world compared to reveling in the ROLE of being a mob boss while making a complete fool out of yourself, drawing attention and ultimately bringing the family down - That's Wilder and Gotti for ya!

 

Wilder may be a beltholder, but he is not a real champion. He's fought nothing but journeymen and faded old men.

The real heavyweight champion is Anthony Joshua, and Wilder will never man up and fight him.
