It's funny, no one talked about Brook's size as a welterweight prior to this. Also, people keep posting about Brook's weight, this doesn't make him bigger.

Edit: No one was saying Brook should be a middleweight or should fight middleweights prior to this. No one complained about him boiling down to 147 for a size advantage like they do with Crawford. 154 sounds right for Brook.

Sure, but now he's being compared to a middleweight and his weight is justification for the fight. I don't care if he's heavier "off camp", fact is, he could make 147 and be effective, Golovkin can't.

You're right, they did. I should clarify: he still doesn't compare well to a middleweight. Golovkin is 165 lean, Brook would be 150-something lean. Right now he's bulky.

Thats not the point you made. One of Brooks biggest assets is his size at the weight and the fact he is much bigger.

I wasn't clear, and that's my fault. But what do you think the point is of these threads? Maybe not the OP specifically but the people that say "Brook is 182" or "Brook is a big welterweight" as though that somehow makes him the same size as Golovkin.
