I don't think I'm interested to go in a casual thread started by a guy who's fetish is closeted black dudes. Thanks. It's cool though. Anyhow I think he's selling a product. He has a PR person. I also believe miss Jackson when she said he wants to please people which I think could eventually be his down fall. I think he's getting lost in his own persona but regardless still my favorite boxer lol. I don't care much about what he's does outside the ring as much in the ring. I actually met him in person after the Castillo fight in Vegas. He was hanging out with Kevin Kelly and Ellerbe and I was with my friend acting gay like you because I couldn't believe it was Floyd Mayweather. So my friend is telling me to stop being a ***** and just introduce myself while I'm like nah, just let him do his thing. Well that **** you may hear how Floyd is pretty aware is true. The ****ing guy hears me and my friend arguing from like 15 feet away and you were not loud, walks up to us, introduces himself and shakes both of our hands. I'm star struck at this point like Charlie Murphy was with Rick James to the point I can't even talk. I finally muster something to say and tell him, Floyd, you're going to be a great fighter. He says I know as it gets more awkward because I can't think of anything else to say. The funniest part of the story was how Ellerbe was mean mugging me and my mans like we were encroaching on his territory just like how a female does. Not that it's not obvious that Ellerbe is gay but you can add this to your dossier bro as some proof. Secondly The guy I met in person didn't seem like his TV portrayal. So I really don't know what's going on there. Anything is possible but it seemed Floyd was a very humble, down to earth guy. I'm sure money and whatever else changed him but I know what I seen in person as opposed to what's on TV. I have a Recent Gamboa story if you found my rambling somewhat interesting to tell you also if you like.
Floyd is delusional, he didn't sell a damn thing with that documentary. He only offered a glimpse into how empty his life is, how stupid he is with his money, and how he has tremendously little self awareness. No PR person would advise their client to come out with that documentary As for your Floyd story, I know you are in love with him. LOL. Sorry if I burst your bubble about him.
I really don't care. Lol, I deserve **** for that story but its true. And trust me mr casual fan of Floyd, it will sell even with his opponent being the ghost.
Well i guess it didnt fail cuz thats who Floyd is. A quiet reserved individual when alone but screams for attention and admiration when surrounded by others. Unfortunately he feels that throwing money at everything is the answer. What he calls happiness or fun is only temporary. A false contentment(in my eyes) but thats where hes at right now. This is what hes become and so this is the real him.
I disagree, he just pulled a Beyonce move and like her documentary showed us what he wanted us to see. He didn't show us the real him, and the only evidence of the real him we saw were in the little glimpses in breaking down the fakeness he tried to show us. The sad thing for me is I don't know what in the hell Floyd is going to do once boxing is over for him. That seems like the only thing giving his life direction right now.
I dont watch stuff like this. Only ever watched 1 24/7. I dont think floyd is gay just real socially awkward. He never had real life experience. Was bred to be nothing but a fighter since he was a baby. So its no suprise he spends an acts the way he does. He does seem naive
Overall u can see hes a good guy who cares about people and wants to be respected and not judged. Im not judging the guy either, hey if thats how he wants to live then by all means, i just want the best for him as i do anybody. You gotta be pretty lame to actually want certain people to suffer or end up miserable. Imo, theres nothing healthy about spending all that money on others, gambling like he does, being with other women other than ur so called fiance who u spend even more on andworrying so much about being respected or accepted despite all of this. I dont think jail taught him anything either. At the end of the show it seemed he was even more pissed off and picking up where he left off.
Floyd's a good dude. I didn't think the piece was as 'embarrassing' as it's made out, really. There were like maybe two parties on his dime over the entire time they followed him around. That crib he has is a playground all by itself.
Agree with this. That documentary was raw as **** though. Naked bitches, money, Floyd just keeping it real with a Rodger cameo, HBO knows they ****ed up and will have to step it up. Manny has hoes. I want to see Manny's hoes when it goes down.
documentary was great and seemed alot more "real" than any show i've seen that involved floyd.. mofos in this thread over analyzed the **** out of this **** atsch
People who always had money act differently than people who just got money. One of my roommates in college is this rich girl who's parents gave her a luxury penthouse somewhere in Europe for her 21st birthday. 21 year old college girl with a multi million dollar property on her hands. Drives a 50,000 car... grew up with money. Her demeanor is pure class. This could be due to the college setting and environment as well though, but overall upper middle and upper class families produce kids who's mannerism is totally different from the families of lower class. The funny thing is.. I think Floyd did grow up with money as well... Which make me believe this is all an act. The real Floyd is this shy good looking kid with a great smile and a mouth full of Leonard's semen.
