Ward's not allowed out of Oakland so there was no chance of running into him.

After last night, I came to think Canelo vs Lemieux might be more competitive than Canelo vs GGG.

Question; Can Canelo still safely make "his" weightclass? He was rumored to have issues making 155, that extra lb might do himself in.

It's dumb as hell that he wants to keep cutting that extra.
Even more dumb that he's probably going to have to pay for the catchweight with GGG.
Paying extra money to cut more weight.:rofl

He wasn't slow vs Lemieux and Stevens, was he ?
How many punches did these 2 land on him ?

To beat GGG, you need an inside game, and Canelo doesn't have that; that's why he gets stopped in 9.

GGG could stop Canelo just with his jab alone, like he (nearly) did with Lemieux.

The fight should be happen at 160. If Canelo not accept, then he should be strip of the title. Then GGG would fight someone for the title and unify anyway.
And Canelo will look like a coward.
    GGG should not accept c/w.

You know that Golovkin already gave Canelo all he could handle and then some, in sparring, right? The slim chance is on Canelo's side :ko

This play is becoming a farce and making weightclasses look obsolete.

    :rofl

I predicted it would take Canelo and Oscar an hour to backtrack on the boasts to Max Kellerman, I was out by a full 30 minutes.

    Canelo really is a b****.

I dont know how anyone can make a case for a Canelo win.
There is no way he can beat Golovkin.

No he is not. Lemieux would knock Canelo out cold.

Canelo cannot fight going backwards. What's he going to do when GGG pushes his around the ring? I'll tell you what he'll do...he'll cover up his head and that will leave his body open for GGG to blast away at it.

I don't think the fight will be competitive. Canelo is made to order for GGG. He's slow, can't cut off the ring, can't fight going backwards. It will be brutal.

I predict GGG will drop a Rousification on Canelo. De La Hoya knows this.

So if it has to be at his weight class it will be at 160, cause he is the WBC 160 Champ :deal
