haha yeah the message... I always think of ppl that make fun of me when I work out and it really motivates me. Most people don't even know about my strength they only judge me because of my small statute. But when it comes to a fight, the first punch makes them think again..

How does that make me an *******? Some guy comes to a boxing forum and says "Hey, look at me, I can do 30 pullups, heres a video of me doing it". :huh Maybe it's just me, but I don't see anything special in 30 pullups.

Yeah your right, I know it was alot easier for me doing chinups when I was lighter. Honest question, dont you want to gain more weight though, a guy 5'5 126 is pretty small, especially if your trying to pick up the ladies and intimidate the guys, I know thats all I cared about when I was 17.:yep

You seem motivated, 30 pull ups is a whole lot for your age.
I like that you're training for self-defense.. but how about joining a boxing gym? I mean, if you worked your way up from virtually doing only 1 pull up, to doing thirty.. you are motivated enough to go from an average fighter to a good one. :good

Haha yeah you're right as well.. but if I was to get bigger (muscle or fat) I would loose my funcionality and I don't want that. I like to throw myself around with my strenght for my size. Feels good. About the ladies, I think they like me for who I am, and a ripped body is good for them no need for big bulky weight lifter. :)

I hear what your saying, but if done right you can gain weight slowly and still keep your fuctionality, you seem like you certainly have the work ethic to do that if you wanted. I would try eating more protein and lifting heavier weight, that would gain you some nice bulk muscle and a guy that built like pit bull is just as intimidating as someone who's 6'3 225 IMO.

I do 10 strict pullups with a 45 lb plate around my waist. Big thanks to Pavel's Gresing The Groove method.

    He's about 255 - 260ish at his biggest (1 year ago) and can not do 40 pullups...maybe 20 and that's maybe.

Where is he talking about training? He's just trying to show off the fact he can do 30 pullups, which isn't exactly amazing. Not trying to be a *****, just wondering what the actual reason for posting is...

thin bones play a huge role here. I'm 5'8'', 128 lbs, and pretty large in the arms and chest for the weight. But I'm going to be 30 years old in a few months oh my. I can do a lot of pullups too, but sometimes its hard not to kip and not use momentum once you get going.
