Every Deontay Wilder fight is an easy business deal...easy $, the odds are still attractive mainly because he is not getting the Tyson hype :yep

How long does it take an average guy with $1000...to turn it into $1200 if Wilder wins it happens instantly, then guys with more money...they take out a $100,000, next day its $122,000...Thats an easy $22,000 profit that you make in bad economic times :good

Not a risky business, legal, safe & bets like this teach bookies to have more respect for Wilder.

I think the odds are extremely tempting...if I had a $100,000 that I can bet with...definitely an easy overnight $22,000 profit

Why risk $1000 to win $200? I wouldnt. you can fight better odds with the fight not going 8 rounds. That
ll be -like 200, thats the bet

I'd rather put a bit of money on Malik Scott. I give him a decent chance against Wilder. Not saying he will win but this isn't a classic mismatch.

Seems like the better choice of odds indeed. Odds are too wide for a guy fighting his first fringe top 30 opponent, even if his opponent has no punch to speak of.

Totally agree here. It's never a good idea to overextend yourself like that..
especially when the payoff doesn't justify it.

    Wilder always wins
    Wilder always wins by KO

    That's easy $220 off $1000

Businesses go through lots of pain and more time to get that profit

There were a lot of fighters who won everything on KO until they just faced a better boxer, and Scotty certainly is the better boxer of the 2.
Wilder will probably win and by KO, but the risk is pretty high putting in a big amount on him.

    Bad bet.

Wilder is one of the few KO artists...with decent odds

KO artists are always big favorites, giving low profit...in this fight the odds are very tempting

Then its still gambling, but a $100,000 bet for those who can do that is easy $22,000 profit in one night! The same $100,000 makes $5000 after one year in the bank :dead

If prime Tyson was fighting Malik Scott you will make $2000 of $100,000 if lucky to get those odds...

In reality the odds are the same, Wilder being underrated pays off big, especially if you can bet big :thumbsup

I'm rooting for Scott here. He deserved a win against Glazkov, and was stupid to wait that long to get up after a knockdown in the Chisora fight. With a bit of luck, his record would have been 38-0 now. Wilder is nothing special, only carries power but has a glass jaw. Scott has the better skills, hopefully he shows heart in their fight.

The easiest and most profitable bet to be made in the last 5 years was Ward vs Kessler.

I believe Kessler was a 3x favorite to win.

Darchinyan vs Mijares was another one that was easy to predict for a big pay off.

    I disagree.

I think Victor Ortiz v Nate Campbell was the easiest money maker I have ever seen.

    Ortiz was evens.

While I favor Wilder, he has those horrendous chicken legs and a glass jaw to match.

Would never put down any money on some glass tin-man like him.

    That was a good bet.

Wlad vs. Haye was damn near a pick em, thanks to all the trashtalk/hype and British money being laid on him. When was the last time you ever seen Wlad that low a favorite. Povetkin was still a 6.5-1 dog

Wlad got KOed 3 times, so they had to balance the odds vs a hyped guy like Haye...Wilder will not be hyped so expect unfavorable betting unless you favor Wilder by KO...which will be around +500, unless he scores next two fights by 1st rd KO...or Wlad suffers knockdowns in his next fights

LMAO.. Never seen these odds before. As of right now, Bovada has Wilder -$450, and Scott at +$350. Yet under the prop bets which usually increase the odds/payouts, since you're essentially picking 2bets; which fighter wins and by how he does it. Wilder is still -$450 for win by KO.. WTF never seen that before. He's +$700 to win by decision, while Scott is +$650 by KO, and +$900 for Dec.

I was hoping to get odds for a Wilder KO down to -$200, to get better value, but it makes no sense to do it now... O/U rds 8.5 is -$285under +$195 over
