Just enough time to catch one's breath after FNF (for those who saw the live broadcast)!

First up - Willie Nelson vs. Vincent Arroyo.

They're picking apart Nelson's resume so far, although he has a KO1 over Jesse Feliciano which is pretty impressive...to me, anyway. :think

They're building Arroyo up as much as they're tearing Nelson down...saying he has good skills and power and that his one loss is excusable.

    Interesting. :think

I wasn't really thinking upset in this one, but it sounds like Farhood sure is.

Arroyo's nickname is borrowed from Vince Carter.

No...not Half-Man, Half-Amazing...another boxer named Jeremy Williams has that one earmarked already...

    VINSANITY!!! :ibutt

    Round 1

Arroyo is aggressive, hooking forward and hitting Nelson in the pecs (because that's all he can reach when punching upwards). Nelson got buzzed by a high hook. Then Arroyo smacks him with a high right hand on the chin as Nelson is opening up. Nelson is just slapping in with lower-arm flurries with his elbows bent. This is like watching a much crappier version of Paul Williams fight an even shorter version of Carlos Quintana, the first time.

    10-9 Arroyo

    Round 2

Nelson is throwing low hooks trying to reach Arroyo's body and slapping downward flurries. Nelson is barking amateur-style every time he throws. He sounds like a puppy. Nelson throwing hooks over Arroyo's head. Arroyo is slipping with minimal movement, only having to drop down slightly to get under Nelson's punching zone. Arroyo is using lots of movement and clinching to avoid getting hit but not throwing too many counters. Big right hand from Arroyo. Nelson throws more hooking shots over Arroyo's head.

20-18 VA, but that could have been an even round for all the clean punches neither landed.
