    Due to a confluence of other sporting events (the NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft) the Friday Night Fights show this week will not be televised live. It can be watched streaming live from 8pm to 10pm EST on ESPN3.com - but during that entire time ESPN2 will be providing draft coverage, as regular ESPN will be carrying Game 6 between the Spurs and Grizzlies at 9pm.

    Of course, it's not a very good FNF anyway. The main event was originally supposed to be quite appealing: some combination of Victor Manuel Cayo, Tim Coleman, and Lamont Peterson (at different points it was reported as being Cayo-Coleman, Cayo-Peterson, and Coleman-Peterson). None of the three will be appearing. Instead the main event is Carlos Molina vs. Allen Conyers, which is hardly anything to get hung about.

    I was kind of excited when someone told me Cayo/Peterson was happening. I don't really care with the new lineup. These things happen.

    It's the one sport that dominates all sports media year-round, despite having a measly 16 game season. :-(

    The programming guide still doesn't have a replay penciled in.

    They still have three NBA Playoff games listed for tomorrow, when NBA.com adjusted their calendar last night to reflect that there will in fact only be the one. :patsch

    I'd have actually been more up for Cayo-Peterson tbh.

    Coleman hasn't really impressed me.

    I'm sure I read the tape delay is 10 pm eastern Saturday. That sucks, but I watch it on the 3 usually anyways. Draft coverage beats boxing. Sad. But true.

    I felt he got a gift over a shot Arnaoutis. He did look better against Patrick Lopez, but...it was Patrick Lopez.

    He just has yet to show me any special dimensions that show he can hang with the best, especially with him being undersized, not the greatest mover and not prone to sitting down in his punches. I guess the Cayo fight would have answered a lot of questions but my pick would have pretty confidently been VMC...whereas Lamont P. seemed a much more even match.

    Thanks 4 the heads up but should the NFL draft really be shown ahead of boxing? There's a lockout for crying out for pancakes!
