I don't think the uppercut artist like ggg too much always shiting on him. even when there no mention of ggg he seems to comment about him. next thing you know he's gonna make a thread "willie pep knocks out ggg"

Mcclellan had some superb power. How Benn survived that 1st round I will still never know.

    LOL!
He stated an opinion, and I followed up.
I'm just saying, if McClellen or Jackson hit Golovkin with the punches Brook did, then Golovkin would be gone. Especially considering the Brook is not as good a boxer as either and both are also as fast handed as Brook.

As I stated, initially, Golovkin has never been in the ring with anyone of McClellen or Jackson's class, so it's an unknown.

    That was a brutal fight.
I think his bout with Jackson took a lot out of McClellen and perhaps left him susceptible to the Benn injury.

Get Golovkin's panties out of your mouth. You already sucked all the juices and dye out.

I have always felt Mclellan was the only man that could have knocked out Roy Jones Jr back at 160 pounds .

Hopkins would have survived against Both Men . His craftiness would have helped him . He probably would have to pick himself off the canvas against both Jackson and G man , but I believe he would get the points win at the end of the night .

Jackson had respectable hand speed as well , people seem to forget that due to his frightning punching power .

No fighter in todays era from 154-160 could defeat either G man or Jackson .

Fukkin monsters, oh they were the days, either of them sit right at the top of todays middleweight division. Along with Golovkin ofcourse. I hate to say anything bad against a better era of Boxing but i still think GGG has his way with them. (and im not a fanboy or atleast i dont think i am)

Very underrated fight. I remember watching it live on the Lennox Lewis - Tony Tucker undercard back when Don King (unlike Bob Arum) put on great cards.

McClellan, Jackson, and Golovkin all have fight ending power. But McClellan and Jackson both appear to be much faster than Golovkin. It would come down to Gennady's defense and chin whether he could survive against either of those men. I suspect he would lose to the Gerald McClellan that Fought Jackson that night. Jackson was already 33 and had several eye surgeries at that point, so he was starting to slip a bit and I would make Golovkin a slight favorite. But, if Jackson landed on GGG like Kell Brook did, it would be lights out for Golovkin.

Both had that instinct and ability to throw multiple combinations, and if they ever sensed one of those punches hurt you, they'd immediately follow up with bombs that were sure to finish you.
Jackson had the kind of power that would knock out opponents while on their feet. I loved watching when he knew he had his opponent KO'ed and extended his arm to say, TIMBRE!
