I recently came across the resume of Mr Malik Scott. When I did my jaw dropped.

    33 and 0. That's right, 33 and 0. Just think about it once more. 33 and 0.

That means he has fought 33 times and won on every single occasion. Imagine the same team winning the Super Bowl 33 years in a row.

A few days ago he beat Kendrick Releford by UD. Releford was schooled by Scott and afterwards Scott offered his thoughts on the fight:

I am convinced that Malik Scott is the future and will be the man to dethrone the Klitschkos.

Malik Scott realises the importance of getting rounds in rather than knocking out opponents. He is improving his stamina, better than than score plenty of early KO's and then gas early on against world class opponents.

If he had true power he would be excellent, but lack of power is going to hurt him against Wlad. If he has a chin though, because of his angles, technique, and combination punching I could see him giving Vitali major problems.

Is this **** for real? Good Ol' Boxrec...:patsch

Scott is a very talented fighter. But he's wasted too much prime time on the sideline. I'm hoping he's rededicated himself, but he needs to be active this year, fighting at least 3-4 more times. I'll re-assess him in 12 months, and after each fight before i say something stupid like he's ready for the K bros.

I believe he was off two years because of management issues and a torn rotator cuff.
