Here we go. Primetime just began broadcasting, and is showing some of the undercard live (most of it is over; we might get some tape-delayed stuff too). HBO is showing only the main event, starting two hours from now. Their programming block is only 10pm-11:30pm EST, which means just one fight + build-up/post-fight analysis. IB you the man nahmsayin'? I ain't even trippin nahmsayin' that you blurted out some Asian tranny's name while rubbin' it out nahmasayin.
 There's a fight in progress; you can clearly see them in the ring in the background mixing it up. Instead of focusing on that, we get the main presenter and Wayne McCullough droning on and on and on and on and on about the main event interspersed with some video roll-in pieces.
Khan just arrived to the arena, and the commentators are speaking right over the decision being read in the ring. :fire I was hoping to hear who it was that we were being denied seeing. My guess is Gary Russell Jr. vs. Eric Estrada. That would have been nice to see. Damn it.
Sort of. I can see the ring, about 60' behind the Primetime commentators who are sitting across the venue with their backs to it, gabbing. :blabla
OH SWEET!!! Whatever we just missed, it wasn't Russell-Estrada. :happy Primetime is going to air it live now, with commentary! :happy
Great work IntentionalButt, your efforts are appreciated from people all over the world. Unfortunately, the Fury vs Chisora thread was a good example of way too much chatter and input from others, which detracted from the rbr. 7 pages of crap before your first post, and then there were some pages where you didn't even get a round in, as there was so much chatter. For those like myself (and I know there are many out there) it would be great to have one thread as you do with only the official rbr, and then another for people who want to chat about the action. That way we have the results accesie easily for those with slow pc's who only want the action and a chat thread for those who want to get involved in discussions. It would mean a mod locking a thread to one poster, not sureif thats possible.
Round 1 Fast southpaw jabs from Russell, his bread and butter. Estrada is keeping his forearms turned up, catching the jabs. Russell is EXTREMELY fast. A couple of jab slam into Estrada's forearms but are just a diversion from the straight left to the body. Blazing fast combos. Double jab, a blur. Estrada starts to bow down as he backs up, trying to throw off Russell's aim. Estrada circles right and moves back a few steps in straight lines. The commentator thinks he should change directions, and not get beaten to the punch. Estrada throws an overhand right and falls in, then launches a left upper-hook out of the crouch. Russell is blocking and countering, extremely quick. Body shots by Russell, really digging in and not losing speed. Pawing jab feint by Russell (about the same velocity as many boxers' actual jabs). Estrada has a 1-2 blocked. 10-9 Russell
