Good round, Brownfield is a little better than his record would indicate.

    Round 1

Brownfield slips some jabs and rights, using a lot of dips and swerves with his head bobbling and an elastic band in his waist. Cancio just stays on him, and eventually starts to land hooks to the body. Brownfield is throwing out a long spearing 1-2 while constantly moving and fails to land firmly without his feet set. Cancio hurts him with body shots and has Brownfield laying against the ropes. Brownfield lands a pair of right hands to get some space, and the first seemed to rock Cancio back on his heel slightly. Several hooks dropped to the head by Cancio as Brownfield tries to duck down to roll with them.

    10-9 Cancio

Good scrap. Brownfield reminds me a little of Paulie Malignaggi.

    Round 2

Brownfield is taking his corner's advice and leaving a trail of hard ambidextrous uppercuts as Cancio comes in. Cancio is just swinging out long and landing hard hooks anyway, willingly taking the uppercuts. HARD right to the face staggers Brownfield back a step. A follow-up flurry puts him down to a knee. Brownfield is up just past the halfway point of the count. He immediately starts to trade with Cancio. Really good action. Brownfield busily hops around and forcefully throws erratic lefts and rights, but gets ripped with hard hooks and straight rights by Cancio. Heads come together. The ref checks for cuts. Brownfield is caught with a lead right through his gloves, and it snaps his head back. Brownfield slips some shots and is pushed into the ropes. A HUGE right for Cancio.

    10-8 Cancio

    20-17 Cancio

    Round 3

Brownfield uses a lot of slippery movement, standing in front of Cancio for a moment before vanishing backward and sliding off to one side and dipping at the knees all in one motion. Brownfield is drawing Cancio in with his defensive daredevil tactics, but as soon as Cancio starts putting hooks together he lands and they're affecting Brownfield. Cancio marches right up to Brownfield and powers a lead right through the gloves. Body shots and now an array of punches to the face by Cancio as Brownfield can't figure out which way to run in the middle of the ring. Brownfield is pushed to the ropes and is still throwing back but getting blasted with hard body shots. REALLY HARD body shots. Cancio momentarily lets Brownfield squirm off the ropes only to be trapped back in a corner. Brownfield keeps throwing as much as he can back at Cancio but is only barely stemming the flow. HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE BODY SHOT KNOCKDOWN! OUCH!

Brownfield should be spitting bile after that.

He beat the count, and was saved by the bell.

    10-8 Cancio

    30-25 Cancio
