Askin vs. Garay is entering the third round. The hometown hero is firmly in command with his jab, as the larger Argie looks to maul him.

Round 3

Garay is walking right onto numerous jabs and shrugging them off, but is halted by a conservative application of uppercuts and overhand rights from Askin when he deigns to take a couple of steps back and load them up. Garay is a rough customer, trying to pull Askin bent over from the back of the neck and club away at him or throw his pincers around the midsection and give him a wind-sapping tug. Askin is struggling a bit when mucked up on the inside but boxing very nicely after the referee forces the breaks.

Round 4

Brutal uppercuts now from Askin, thrown with more frequency as Garay tries to just drive through with his bulk and tap the taller Askin on the bottom of the chin once he's bought his passage. Garay is now battled back to the ropes, swiping with wide hooks and getting creamed with doubled-up overhand rights. Garay is wobbling a bit. BIG UPPER-HOOK; GARAY IS KTFO!!!!!

Round 1

Hatton darts forward and jabs. Abramenka is cautious, dropping daggers to the body and waving paws up in the air from the outside. Hatton uses some quick lateral hops to close in on Abramenka, before darting away quickly from a counter punch. Nice sneaky right hand by Hatton, through the gap as Abramenka let his hands go. Missed right to the body by Hatton. They exchange short choppy jabs from mid-range. Abramenka is giving up ground while jabbing. Long right hand poke to the body by Abramenka. Hatton is coming forward in spurts, holding up his jab.

Round 2

More nice jabs from Hatton, jerking the reigns just in time to evade the counter flurries of Abramenka. Nice body attack by Hatton. Abramenka pops him with a good right backing up, sending some sweat flying off his baldness. Right hand digs to the ribs by Hatton. Heavy pressure now from Hatton, taking quick steps forward.

Round 3

Abramenka wades in tentatively, chopping with both hands. Hatton flinches and blocks, then pounds him at the end of the exchanges. Big left hook by Hatton. Pretty even in offense distributed. Hatton a bit sharper, landing and defending better but Abramenka is getting licks in and circling wide.

Round 4

Hatton lands a couple of nice right hands, and buzzes Abramenka. The Belarusian covers up and complains of rabbit punches. Hatton laying it on thick. Abramenka not getting much through.

Round 5

Hatton surges on behind his jab. Abramenka extends a few rights off the back foot, just feather dusting. Hatton hooks his way in and boxes Abramenka's ears. Abramenka takes a turn coming forward and Hatton blocks everything on his forearms. Now Hatton drubs him with a two-fisted attack up top that has Abramenka retreating to the ropes.
