    Watch the fight...

No way in hell that Toney won either of the first two rounds. He hardly even landed anything. The announcers even gave him credit for a couple of grazing shots and one that didn't land in the 2nd round. Rahman's jab alone won the first 2 rounds.

Shannon Briggs and I agree with the two judges who got it right.

I haven't seen any scorecards and they weren't read out at the end. I don't need the scorecards to tell me what happened in the ring. I can see it with my own two eyes.

The scorecards told me that Felix Trinidad beat Oscar De La Hoya, and that Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield fought to a draw... I make up my own mind. I don't let bad judging dictate to me what I saw in the ring.:good

And this is a behaviour of a real Man and Champion.

But Wlad never talks **** about his opponents or other people. That make the difference. He had class and you should think about your own class when talking such **** about the Heavyweight Champion.

The bad side, Wladimir had his losses.

The good side of these losses, Wladimir knows who is a real friend and who not. This was hard, but the good side an be important for yourself because you know who is the real friend.

But he works very hard to come back and he is back.

Sounds to me like down in Ohio, the drug of choice is Crystal Meth. You better stop smokin that mess Widdow, all your teeth are gonna rot. Toney was schooling Rahman, and almost had his big ass down. Rahman KNEW then end was near, and thats when he started with the BS "I can't see" whining. I dont know which was more pathetic, that or Oscar de la Hoya quitting on his stool against a strawweight. And if Waldo EVER grows a pair and calls the Grind, I have a few things to tell his manhugging ass. No respect for that Titleholder from JP and you can quote me on that!:good:hi::rasta

Briggs throws literally 10 punches a round he has no Chin, no stamina, asthma but he will beat Wlad?

Briggs could not even beat Sultan Ibragimov a much smaller fighter than him.

Briggs is boring as hell to watch and is essentially a 4 round fighter.

Briggs ONLY chance is to catch Wlad in the first 2 rounds or so otherwise he would get knocked out.

Briggs lost the Ibragimov fight. Why in hell should Wlad fight Briggs. He is not rated in the rankings of IBF/WBO in the Top 10.

What was Rahman like #13 or something, and he quit against Toney. Briggs is more dangerous than Rahman.

Good point. That fight with 'White Wolf' was horrible. Briggs has no stamina and is a 2 round fighter.

Yet Wladimir STILL didn't take the fight. Manny Steward implored him not to take it because he said "Briggs was too dangerous"

Briggs is too dangerous for Wlad. Shannon has the most first round knockouts of any Heavyweight champ in recent memory, and we all have seen how Wlad reacts to taking a big punch in the past. I agree Shannon is pretty much a 2 round fighter, but that may be all he needs against Wlad, whose weak chin was exposed in 2 rounds against Corrie Sanders back in 03.

I honestly believe Wlad would of more and likely beat Briggs at the time, but Briggs is extremely powerful, and can lay you out with one punch. Just ask Sergei, who took everything but the kitchen sink against Brewster the fight before, and then took on Briggs, who caught him with maybe 1/10 of the punches Brewster did, and was able to finish the job by knocking his oppenent out of the ring in the 12 round.

No, he wasn't #4 before negotiations began...maybe after.

...and he was NOT a mandatory challenger, the IBF allowed it to count as his mandatory...but ROCK was not a mandatory challenger and would have never worked his way into that spot.
