Briggs is horrible it was hilarious listening to them slobber over the guy like he was Joe Louis or something. Briggs is a garbage Heavyweight period.

The only reason I listen to the show is to hear Jack Prescott I don't listen live I just fast forward to when Prescott is on.

If they want to be taken seriously they need to act like legit reporters and report BOTH sides of the coin.

Talking like Briggs is some great fighter was pitiful. They need to take a lesson from Larry Merchant and ask tough questions and quit being nuthuggers.

I wish I would of known Briggs was on last night, I would of definitely called in. Briggs can hit like a ****ing mule, I havent seen anyone punch as hard as him since Tyson. Brewster was my boy for a long time, but Briggs hits a good bit harder than him.

When rumors were going around that Wlad might fight Briggs, Wlad caught all kinds of hell for it. Everyone acting like Briggs is some joke pushover fight for Wlad. Then, the fight doesn't come off and Wlad is running for the hills? Yeah... I am sure that Wlad would get HUGE credit for beating Briggs. You guys talk about Manny Steward's hype talk as if it is the gospel too. Every time that Manny thinks a fight might happen he talks up the other guy about how dangerous they are. It's good marketing. Manny was talking about how dangerous Castillo was for Wald too.:thumbsup Manny has also said within the last 2 years that about 10 different heavyweights are the most interesting fight for Wlad. It's called hyping a possible fight.

The guy sucks. He throws 10 punches a round has no Chin, no stamina, uses asthma as an excuse for everything.

If you are going to make up fairy tales at least pick a better fighter than Shannon Briggs to say Wlad is running from him. Did you not see Briggs vs Sergei or Briggs vs Sultan? They were two of the most boring fights I have ever seen.

Do you think a legit Boxing journalist would sit there and listen to Briggs talk like he is the undisputed Heavyweight Champion when the guy would not even go to China and fight a corpse in Andrew Golota? If Briggs was so good no matter his shape he should be able to go over there and spark Golota right? Instead he used the old "I am out of shape" excuse. That is the problem with Briggs and other American Heavyweights they are all lazy as hell. Do you think the Klitschko's or some of the other fighters let themselves get so out of shape between fights? Hell no.

Briggs is a likable guy I thought he was great as a commentator on ESPN FNF's a while back but the reality is he is a crappy boring fighter that is out of shape.
