I do not know what fight you saw.

Ibragimov was very carefully and he was waiting for Wlad´s mistake. So the fight become such tactical matchup. At the end Ibragimov had steppend up but he didn´t and Wlad did not need to do. Wlad had Iggy on the canvas and Iggy took some great shots.

But we are talking about Shannon Briggs. You say he deserves a fight against Wlad, and i say he lose to Ibragimov and why in hell should Wlad fight Briggs?

Don´t change the facts.

 

I'm not saying it wont go that way, but at least Haye has an exciting fighting stlye, something Iggy doesn't, if anyone seen his two fights against Briggs and Holyfield would agree.

I like Haye, and If I had to guess, at least Haye will be willing to throw down with Wlad, and not be scared like others before him. Not since Peter, has a fighter went after Wlad and went balls to the wall trying to take him out. While Peter didnt win, he did however give Wlad alot of trouble and him down several times. I just hope Haye is willing to let his hands go and put on a good show for us fight fans, something the division has been having very little of over the last few years.

 

Haye didn't look faster than Sultan or Wlad on his feet against Barrett. Haye doesn't have the footwork or the head movement to beat Wlad klitschko. Haye looked considerably slower at Heavyweight than at Cruiser in his last fight. He did display fast hands in his last fight, but unless he improves his footwork and head movement, he will be a sitting target for Wlad all night long.

 

Wlad is merely a Titleholder. He is no ****ing World Champion by a longshot.

 

That's not true...everyone initially goes after Wlad. He is just better equiped to deal with it now. Fighters start out moving in against Wlad but sees that he doesn't panic any longer. All fighters realize that it is their best chance to win against Wlad...when that doesn't work, they're left not knowing how to handle everything that Wlad brings to the ring.

Have you ever asked yourself during a Wlad fight, "Why do his opponents just allow Wlad to hit them with the jab time and time again?"

Trust me, if they could do anything about it, they would...it will be the same story with Haye or Areolla.

 

I dont remember Rahman going after Wlad, Brewster didnt in their second fight, Iggy just winged shots from left field. I'm talking about pressuring Wlad, roughing him up on the inside, something Peter was able to do in their fight in 05. Wlad still has trouble when the going gets tough, the only problem is, his last few oppenents werent willing to throw caution to the wind and take that chance.

You show me a mentally tough, good chinned, heavy handed fighter, and I will show you the next Heavyweight champion of the world.

 

Peter sucks. The guy got blown out and quit against a guy that had not fought in 4 years. After he loses to Chambers 100-90 on all 3 scorecards his career will be in the toilet. Peter did not even land a punch on one of the knockdowns.

 

why on earth would Wlad try to pin down Haye's foot who is an orthodox fighter? You are just making crap up. Wlad getting close enough to Haye to pin down his foot would benefit Haye not Wlad. :roflatsch

 

Wlad simply fell down on one of the "knockdowns" the commentators even mentioned that no punches landed. Then they showed the replay. Peter is horrible.

 

Watch round 10 again, Wlad was hurt, and seen Peter go after him to finish the job, and Wlad dropped to his knees and went down. Peter had Wlad hurt several times in that fight, mostly from partially blocked punches. If Peter wasnt so green at the age of 25, he probably would of beat Wlad that night.

 

I never said Wlad was not hurt but one of those knockdowns was from Wlad panicking no punch even landed.

Their careers have gone in two different directions since that fight.

Peter has no skill that is why he could not finish Wlad not because he was green.
