You're right...it won't happen because Haye is an orthodox fighter. Maybe I just haven't seen the right fights with David haye, but from I've seen, Sultan Ibragimov displayed much better head movement and footwork than Haye. Haye did not look impressive against Barrett. in my opinion, if that version of Haye shows up to fight Wlad, Wlad has an easy night.

You're right about the Iggy fight, though. Iggy looked like he only had one game plan, and that was to try and slip and counter from the same exact position all night. He made a couple of attempts to go after Wlad, but realized that Wlad is much quicker than advertised. He even stated after the fight that Wlad was a lot faster than he thought he was going to be.

Wlad is a complete fighter now. When Wlad fought Sam Peter, he was still not confident and still learning how to tie his opponents up effectively.

if you watch Wlad then and now, there's no comparison.

 

This is exactly what we are counting on. Watching the nauseated and worried look on the face of Vital-less as Wlad is knocked into Kingdom Come is almost as much fun as watching Oscar or Bernard's face when they dont get the Decision.
