He stopped Boogaloo Watts and Willie the Worm before beating Bad Bennie. Finally, Curtis Parker turned the tide, stopping Love in nine rounds to win the USBA title. Really good boxer-puncher from my memory who fought a lot of top guys. He was kind of a gatekeeper/high-level-journeyman/fringe contender type and was probably never an easy proposition for anyone.
