This fight would of been big at one point. During that time GGG offered Mayweather that he would of dropped down to 154 for him .Floyd had beaten the younger bigger Canelo. GGG was around 30-32 at this time .Floyd had fast reflexes and great hand speed along with the best movement ,and very high IQ and the ability to adjust to almost every style thrown at him. However after seeing GGG against Jacobs and Monroe .seeing how he was able to cut off the ring effectively as well as ggg was able to use his ring cutting genius against jacobs and Monroe I was also surprised by his Jab ...his jab was able to catch targets while they were mobile he caught monroe and jacobs both while in movement and southpaw . And he was accurate . I wonder if GGG would of been able to do the same with Floyd and stop him or would Floyd box his head off @154

Mayweather was great, but there is a limit for everyone. I think Mayweather would have a chance but I see ggg catching him at some point. 154 could be close 160 most likely ggg.

Old GGG gives Mayweather some of his own medicine and slaps him around like he's a defenseless woman. Stops him in 5 or less.

GGG we never saw at 154, i dont think he could have gotten there without draining himself. floyd UDs him, if floyd had to move to 160 GGG surely beats him

You can't say that around here. Don't you know GGG is the most overrated fighter of this generation? Forget about his stupid Silver medal, AM record or all his title defenses, he'd lose badly to Mayweather at 154 or above.

The thing I love about this mythical match-up (which has been proposed before) is that all of Mayweather's fans seem to portray GGG as some sort of a bum Mayweather beats easily. Yet if GGG is such a bum, why didn't Mayweather go up to Middleweight and take his title from him? He could have another title in another weight class and it would add to his TBE moniker. Why didn't Mayweather do it? Because he isn't as dumb as his fans and he knew he'd get KTFO by Golovkin.

Don't know about a 36 year old Floyd, but a younger Floyd wins.

Golovkin is too slow and predictable.

Only fighters to ever hurt Floyd were quick handed fighters.

H2H Floyd gives him a similar beating like the one Corrales got minus the KDs.

Nope, Floyd gets brain damaged at 160. Golovkin too big too skilled.

Styles make fights. Why GGG would win this match-up is because of his accurate jab combined with power of his jab and his size. GGG's jab would find it's target and Floyd being smaller would take damage and get worn down from just his jab. In addition is Golovkin's chin. He likely wouldn't have respected Mayweather's power.

A drained 22 year old Canelo (that a 28 year old GGG whooped in sparring) that's the same height as Floyd and coming in with a bad stylistic match-up isn't a good representative of what would happen in this match up.

Floyd could receive 1500 ml of illegal IV fluids (which is 29X more than the allowable limit and 15X more than what he took in the Pacquiao fight) and GGG would still launch his ugly ass head into the stands. Whoever catches Floyd's severed head will proceed to give it a wet willy before spiking it to the floor.

Oh, and GGG would dislocate and then shatter Floyd's shoulders.
