This. Floyd even at 36 years old would beat GGG to the punch almost every time and his footwork and defense would neutralize GGG's power.

I voted GGG by KO but this entirely comes down to whether he can handle the weight loss without being drained to death. If Golovkin is a corpse on fight night it's quite possible that Floyd runs rings around him and outpoints him.

If GGG can handle the weight drop and is anything like his normal self I can't see how Floyd wins. Golovkin is great at cutting the ring and walks through guys with no power - which is what Floyd is. At 160 GGG wins and there's no debate.

Floyd, he deserves more praise then he gets too. People always back ggg because he's a good guy but Floyd kept winning up until he was 39, where ggg ( in my opinion) got found out in first Canelo and convincingly beat 2nd

Yes, Golovkin can’t box that’s why he is an Olympic silver medalist and amateur world champion.

I think Mayweather beats Kovalev too. And Loma is ducking Gervonta. These “Russians” are only hypejobs

What a way to reach. Nobody said GGG isn’t immensely talented, since he’s clearly one of the best guys in boxing today, but styles make fights. Floyd is simply a bad style matchup for GGG and the people that handled GGG knew it. While Kovalev on the other hand has very good hand speed and a tricky right hand that I can see him eventually sneaking in on Floyd.

Also, Loma would school Davis and maybe even stop him, since Loma’s too experienced and Davis makes too many mistakes. Besides Mikey I don’t see anybody at 135 or 140 as a real threat for Loma.

This is about time when Floyd had a really close fight with Maidana. I can't see him winning over GGG.

Golovkin offered to go to 154 for Floyd and Floyd blew him off, despite all the #easywork claims and fakery that PBF liked to spout. It's clear that Floyd was deeply bothered by the kudos GGG was getting and hated it. If Floyd thought he'd stand a chance he'd have fought Golovkin. Fact is, Golovkin is not only a crappy style matchup for Floyd, but is also much bigger.

It's clear that Golovkin is a step too far for Floyd. There's only one winner in a fight between them where Golovkin is not drained to death.
