36 years ago: Clash For The Crown, Michael Gerard "Kid Dynamite" Tyson vs. Tyrell T "Big Burt" Biggs

Yeah i thought it was a decent round for Biggs and i think he deserved to win the first round, but as soon as Tyson hit him in the 2nd round Biggs started to fight flat footed and then that was all she wrote. Biggs had the size and talent but liked to mix it up too much the warning signs were there vs Bey.

 

Blueprint can be imitated but few can duplicate it. Had to wait until Tyson was past prime as well.

 

Tyson was just feeling him out in the 1st few rounds, to say the fight would have stayed like that for 12 rounds is insane, hardly any punches were landed in the 1st round.

 

1st rounds don`t mean anything in pro boxing, nothing happened, the fight was just starting.

 

I never said it would've stayed like that for 12 rounds.....stop putting words into my mouth.

All I said was Biggs got lured into exchanging punches too much often in his career, i never said he could box a perfect fight and outbox Tyson for 12 rounds.....
