López has the cut looked at before the bell, and is cleared. López is feigning a jab, then leaning to his left and telegraphing an upper-hook only to pull it and instead revert to plan A, scoring a jab on a befuddled Ortizo. Lots of shuffling movement by López, scoring jabs and straight/roundhouse right hand leads. Ortizo walking through the front door with his hands down, relying on his chin to punch his ticket. Ortizo can't summon the energy to make his fists reach target in a timely manner once inside. Lots of clinching and wrestling. López is circling out and prancing from left to right, catching Ortizo's jabs on his left knucklepad, shooting into them. Slashing right stepping in by López but Ortizo as usual is unfazed. López stuffs an Ortizo right looped into the body diving in by lowering his left arm to trap it, and scores a right hand driving down into Ortizo's chin.

Are you drunk, Loeffler? You are misusing the adjective proud, first off, you can't apply it to an inanimate abstraction. Second, lots of fighters =/= lots of champions. Almost nobody on this card has even a Cracker Jack box championship.

 

The banter with Canelo is pretty good, though.
