    Akhmedov's opponent was about as proficient at fighting as he was at making weight. Akhmedov did what he was supposed to do though.

    That's pretty cool, the CSAC has a pension fund to help boxers that fought in (didn't have to be from or even based in) California. They just presented a check to Greg Puente, a super featherweight in the 80's/90's with a 9-6-4 record, holding the distinction of being the guy Shane Mosley fought in his pro debut (reaching the fifth of a scheduled 6 rounds with Sugar)

    lol it was. I like Johnson, and like you, I've rated him for years. His power ain't no joke, but neither is Artur's. In fact, it's about as far away from being a joke as it gets lol. It'll be a good one for as long as it lasts.
