Flushing Flash Kevin Kelley agrees, citing the Armenian's "active aggression", while Mayes-Taylor threw exclusively "fanning" defensive shots.

 

Omg, brutal KO2. Mayes-Taylor was hit with a series of about two dozen uppercut and overhand rights, and was unconscious on his feet probably for the last 8-10. Petite female ref jumped in and clasped both her arms over him and could barely keep him from careening over.

 

That was Darchinyan's pro debut; he's Freddie Roach's newest acquisition.

Kelly has Shawn Porter sparring partner Freeman up 20-19 at the halfway point. He originally scored the second for him (and would therefore having 20-18 Freeman) but was persuaded to change it to a 10-10 because Doug Fischer pled a case for Weston

 

After three, Fischer has Weston up 29-28 and Kelly has it up for grabs in the fourth (29-29)

 

Freeman with a massive, nearly fight-ending right hand. Definitely can't see ant worse than an upset draw for "Puma" , who entered 3-8-1 against the 6-0-1 Weston.

10-9 Robles; Sustaita is wild.

 

20-18 Robles, kid works the body well and can be fairly effective at range but for some reason has this risky habit where he leaves his own head dangling low & undefended on the inside, for which the whole commentary panel is roasting him.

 

Sustaita was hurt by a low blow and turned his back and took a few extra hits while the ref was attempting to wedge between them and facilitate a pause.
