Becerra is getting backed into a corner but still punching back. Ramos is able to snipe him from arm's length, pumping both hands into Becerra's face, emptying his tank. Ramos taking BIG telegraphed swings but is just beyond range for the stumpier Becerra to counter, although he's trying - and whistling awfully close a few times. Both men flurry intensely during the final half minute, toe-to-toe in the middle of the ring. Big right hand from Becerra. Uppercut from Ramos misses. Couple of lefts on the body from Becerra.

Akhmedov is lining up the 1-2, chasing Guy across the ring, working a shallow uppercut into the breadbasket. Guy bending forward, palms over his eye sockets, dipping from side to side, creeping outside after feinting up top. Guy taking Akhmedov's measure, jumping in and tying up every time Akhmedov lands a 1-2. Guy comes off the ropes flurrying after being corralled into them. Akhmedov cutting the ring off, very calm & composed. Lead right from Akhmedov. Guy clinches and slaps the back of Akhmedov with his free right hand. Guy is cuffed atop the head with a left hook from outside, then lurches into a clinch. Akhmedov is doubling his jab and feeding a right cross between the guard and Guy traps his arm, causing both to fall together onto the canvas.

Round 2

Akhmedov is doubling the jab and scaring Guy into a corner with a right cross, but pulls it halfway there when Guy slips out the side door. Akhmedov is bashing down with his right arm when Guy wraps him up. 1-2 from Akhmedov on the brow. Guy lands a left hook on the side of the neck. Akhmedov looks mildly surprised but not hurt, immediately setting back to work cutting the ring off. Lead rights by Akhmedov. Guy flinging his arms out, encircling Akhmedov's waist. Ref orders a break, and one more 1-2 from Akhmedov.

Round 3

Akhmedov is puzzling over what to do from outside. Guy is being a negative pain in the ass. When they circle in or out to at least medium range, Akhmedov is zapping him regularly with the jab. On the outside, Guy is running in reverse and flopping backwards against the ropes, buoying himself off to warp-drive past Akhmedov in the other direction. On the inside Guy is tossing himself bodily into Akhmedov, swallowing him up in bear-hugs. Akhmedov is following, bobbing & weaving, finding a home for the stiff left jab. Guy tries some right hands up top but they roll off Akhmedov's left forearm.

Round 4

Akhmedov is jabbing relentlessly into the guard, trying to situate Guy on the ropes so he can land the right cross - which he does, on Guy's temple, rocking him. Guy recovers and goes even further into survivalist mode. Guy shelling up on the ropes and curling himself into a ball, then flurrying at the body with his head bowed while pressing into Akhmedov to tie up. Akhmedov is caught by a jab and overhand right from Guy walking in a little overconfident. Double jabs by Akhmedov, looking to drop the right hand in behind them, but finding Guy wedging his skull into his chest whenever he is about to fire it.

Guy almost hyperventilating on his stool. Only at the halfway point..

 

Round 5

Akhmedov is holding up his guard as Guy tosses single line drive lead rights from outside. Guy the only guy punching, but he's getting blocked 100% of the time. Nothing round halfway in. Lots of clinching. Akhmedov finally gets his jab dusted off and starts to push a few out into Guy's head, but is ducked and ties up. They both scrabble for body shots inside. Akhmedov with some very pinpoint lead rights above the left eye socket of Guy from outside, hunching both shoulders forward as he takes aim. Big looping right by Akhmedov just before the bell.

Round 6

Akhmedov is caught with a couple of high-sailing overhand rights by Guy. Double jab by Guy. Akhmedov covers up and waits his turn, jabbing Guy in the face and hooking the body. Guy is circling to his left, seeking a bit of respite in the corners, literally sitting his butt against the padded turnbuckles, except Akhmedov is giving him no quarter, looping a right hand behind the jab and clipping Guy even as he breaks into an escaping lateral trot.

Round 7

Akhmedov is pushing through with the straight right lead. Guy is frustrating him with all his spoiling and stalling tactics. Guy is pinned against the ropes a few times with Akhmedov tattooing him with both hands, but Guy invariably wriggles free and either circles away or hops in with a flurry en route to a clinch. Akhmedov is getting blocked now as he loads up on single lead rights. Guy tosses an overhand right jumping inside and then ducks out to his right before Akhmedov can even start to counter. Another clinch from Guy. 3-2 between the guard by Akhmedov.

Round 8

Akhmedov is pumping out the jab, walking Guy into the corner and then batting down with the right hand and/or burying a left hook into the waistband. Guy is shooting a planking right up top, but nothing on it, missing past Akhmedov's neck after being partially deflected off the back of his fist. Akhmedov is putting up a high volume and mostly accurate with the right hand. Guy is missing his counter overhand right up top as Akhmedov steps in landing his straight lead. Guy down, slip. Clinch. Akhmedov throws a 1-1-2 into the guard. Looping right by Akhmedov misses. Hacking flurry by Guy, only landing on the nape of the neck as he pulls Akhmedov down into another clinch.

That is by far the worst Akhmedov fight I've seen, and that is 100% Mike Guy's fault.
