Interesting opener. Fairly evenly matched. Huge improvement from the previous couple of match-ups, in technicality.

Deckman KO2, overcoming a corrupt or wildly incompetent ref who previously had waved off blatant, demonstrable cause-and-effect knockdowns from Deckman right crosses as "slips", until finally he was forced to accept that Berry had been KTFO and wasn't getting up.

 

Deckman, a German-born southpaw (who tonight fought orthodox) now residing in North Hollywood and co-trained by Freddie Roach and Scott Quigg (that's random ) improves to a record of 3-0 (3).

 

Mario Armando Ramos vs. Emmanuel Castro Robles, 6 rounds @ lightweight
