Local undefeated prospect Omar Cande Trinidad just scored a KO2 against veteran José Luis "Negro" Ramírez García, followed by an in-ring call-out by fellow SoCal fighter Adan Cuactemoc Ochoa. There's apparently preexisting beef there, as they almost went at it. Tom Loeffler basically signed it on the spot, Teddy Long style.

 

Yep, anybody answering the clarion call is just in time.

Round 1

Bohachuk is jogging to his left, shelling up, elbows pinched over his navel. Gallimore headhunting with quick high jabs in multiples, and 1-2s. Bohachuk leaning in, leaving the goalposts up, then bracing against Gallimore and hurling underhanded body shots as they separate. A few jabs and combos from Bohachuk as they circle, but Gallimore is throwing with more conviction, sending Bohachuk off-balance with a stiff jab to punctuate a combination. Bohachuk leaning in, neck bent forward, earmuffs on, looking to grind his way close for some infighting. Gallimore not letting him through without eating some counter uppercuts. Bohachuk doesn't fancy the flavor. Gallimore with a hook wrapping around behind the right glove of Bohachuk and nicking his ear. Short guard-splitting uppercut inside from Bohachuk. Two jabs, uppercut, straight right hand by Gallimore. Stringing punches together very fluidly and confidently.

Bohachuk is advancing now, arms loosely held out in front of him, neither high nor low, chest height. Gallimore backpedaling in a classic boxing stance, left fist cradled just above his waistband, right forearm diagonal across his pec with the knuckles under his chin and elbow splayed out, a`la Floyd Mayweather. Not much happening effectively for either man in exchanges, as Bohachuk throws pairs of uppercuts and gets blocked, only for Gallimore to chase him out with lunging jabs and straight rights that don't reach as Bohachuk scurries outside. A few body shots by Gallimore. Bohachuk hurls a hard lumpy 1-2 between the gloves of Gallimore, who responds with a few more light flank spanking flurries dancing around Bohachuk.
