Floyd would of beat him the same as Leonard beat him. Which is the same way he beat Maidana the second time around. The first fight reminded me of Leonard vs Duran 1. It's just that Maidana didn't have what it took to beat Floyd. If it was a all out brawl, Duran would of probably beat Floyd, but if Floyd boxed him, he would of fustrated him the same as leonard did.

beating maidana alot clearer in the rematch and opting to show his range of skills in boxing and out fighting rather then sitting in the pocket and getting a competitive win whilst fighting maidanas game is impressive at 37. but duran at 37 taking on barkley .. i was not alive for this but its pretty clearly ahead of floyds

 

Prime for prime Duran wins, but at age 37, Floyd wins a shutout because Duran was fat and shot at that age.

Duran showed he was a badass against barkley fight due to being a decade older but Barkley really wasn't all that good. His chin was shaky, his stamina wasn't up to par and his ring iq was truly terrible. But Duran fought his ass off to make it close. He finished strong but no matter how much I favor him I just can't give him better than a draw. He lost way too many rounds to get the decision.

Especially as it took 10/15 friggin minutes to get the sound " working " then to come with a 1-118/110 on one card is laughable. Duran would best Floyd in a toe to toe battle but Floyd wouldn't be that stupid and he would box his ass off and stay out of the trenches for the most part.

Going into the Barkley fight Duran was losing like every other fight so he wasn't some great fighter in his 30's
