    On the undercard:

    • Ola Afolabi vs. Valery Brudov, 12 rounds @ cruiserweight for the WBO title (vacated by Marco Huck when he moved up to challenge Alexander Povetkin for the WBA heavyweight title)

    • Alexander Ustinov vs. Kertson Manswell, 8 rounds @ heavyweight

...and some other uninteresting garbage. :conf

Tony Harrison is on the undercard trying to maintain his 1st round KO streak (currently at 4 fights) as he faces the once stopped Harun Akcabelen.

Ustinov v Manswell starts in about 70 minutes.
Afolabi v Brudov directly after it.

Yeah, that and the bout with Toth (Hungarian welterweight puncher prospect) are mildly interesting - but really it's par for the course with K2 cards: a very weak overall undercard. I suppose we should count ourselves lucky we at least get the potentially somewhat competitive and vaguely important cruiserweight championship tilt between Afolabi and Brudov. That's a good deal better than anything you often find on a K2 support card.

Ustinov vs. Manswell is barely worth looking at, except for the realistic chance of a highlight reel KO. Given their styles, it could just be a long, uneventful, and boring eight rounds. The winner also has no shot at making any noise whatsoever in the division. If Ustinov wins, great - he beat someone else handpicked for him and still hasn't proven anything. If he gets upset, well - he falls off the map but Manswell doesn't then become a contender all of a sudden.

What's up with Brudov only weighing in at 84,5 kg?

Does anyone know when the undercard starts? I'm still in my flat, don't want to be there too early.

It is the Interim title only. Huck still havent decided if he stays at Heawyweight, so he is still the WBO champ.
