:scaredas::scaredas::scaredas: I only caught the ninth and tenth, but what a ferocious and foul-filled slugfest they were!!!!!!! Zarate was on the verge of being disqualified the whole time, with the ref screaming warnings in his face - and he just KEPT throwing hard low blows and jumping inside leading with his head...and above all, forcing Rojas to brawl with him throwing constant power punches. He shrieked, hooted, and stomped while doing so! I've gotta catch the first eight when they show up on Youtube. This looks like it was LOCO! :yep
The Azteca commentators' unofficial scorecard: Rounds 1-4 Rojas Rounds 5-6 Zarate Rounds 7-10 Rojas One of those rounds was 10-8 for Rojas, probably due to a point deduction. Their final score was 98-91 Rojas. Personally I thought Zarate got enough leather on him (when not fouling or getting lectured by the official) to outweigh Rojas' effective right jabs and defense in the 10th. :conf Awaiting the official verdict...
Earlier on the card (this was the headliner) former strawweight champ Raul Garcia beat Michael Landero by 3rd round wave-off TKO at light flyweight.
