Actually, I haven't seen this fight in a year or two, so I would have to rewatch it before I say anything about the details of the fight. I do remember enjoying the fight plenty and thinking Sanchez was at his best, that it was definitely his best win ever, and maybe his best performance. But I also thought Gomez fought courageously and was doing well. Both deserve a lot of credit for that fight. I remember those thoughts running thru my brain, but I will re-watch it in a little bit and let you know what I thought.

Well, @JohnThomas1, i did watch the fight and my recollections were correct, except I forgot what an ATG war it was! The only fresh thought i had on the fight was that I think Sanchez was merely the better man. Gomez wanted a brawl and Sanchez gave him one, and won! It's a rare and impressive thing to beat a fighter at his own game. Sanchez outwitted and outbrawled Gomez.

 

Hard to fault anything there Will.

 

It's just proves what an awesome fight and performance it was. It just cannot be argued about.
