With this new style Lara get's KO'd within 3, with his old style he outboxes GGG for a few rds before getting stopped.

    I mean I wouldn't say I'm against it.

But it's been years since Lara defeated anyone decent.

I had him losing to both Hurd and Castano, although I get the arguments the other way. Martirosyan was back in 2016 and that's when his opposition level dropped off massively.

I don't think he's much of a threat to G any more, completely thought the opposite in his prime though.

An acceptable fight, but not one to hope for imo.

There's lots of people that die at these ages of natural causes in their sleep. They call it SIDS and I'm worried for them because of this. They should not be fighting at these ages. Maybe that's ageist but I just feel like it's caring for the well-being of the olderly.

Am I more caring than most other people? I am not saying that but yes. Does that make me better than anyone? I'm not saying that either. But it does make me differenter than everybody.

    Good for you.
You're one to talk, you just made it seem like I all of a sudden started pumping GGG up for the trilogy, but if you "did your research" you would know that going back many many years, I always rated GGG, always "praised" him as being a tough customer and saw him as pretty much the toughest fight for Canelo, even now at 40 years old. So you "assumed" that I all of a sudden started pumping GGG up as a means to make Canelo look better if he wins, because you saw a lot of people talking about how Canelo "aged" GGG which is complete BS and because other people have made the argument that GGG is easier to beat now at 40.

So you've done the same thing that you're accusing me of, assuming what my view about GGG is because of what the popular view about him is now given his age. My view of GGG hasn't changed, if it seems like I'm praising him now more than usual, maybe it's because he's finally taking a real risk, in moving up to 168 to fight Canelo, something that many fans have wanted GGG to do for some time, to fight for Undisputed at 168. But me "praising" GGG and rating him is nothing new, I've always rated him and always saw him as a tough opponent for Canelo, even now at 40 years old.
I Would say the same thing to you. I'm not as much of a Canelo fan as you think i am. Yes I'm a fan, probably in the same way as you see yourself as a GGG fan, as a fan but not as a fanboy or someone who can't score his fights objectively, but the only reasons why people think I'm some kind of Canelo Super fan is because of how many people on this forum are actually GGG super fans and don't like that I scored the GGG fights for Canelo. It couldn't just be that I'm objective and scored it fairly, it has to be that I'm some kind of a fanboy for Canelo. Don't assume things about me and I won't assume things about you.

Your post history regarding Canelo suggests otherwise

Youve dissed GGG tons on various threads when on the defensive

    Now he is a threat...

    Ok

Lara turned and ran from Canelo. Against Golovkin he jumps out of the ring almost like Kermit Cintron, except he goes over the top rope.

When has any of my previous comments about Canelo or GGG suggested that I didn't think GGG poses a threat? I've clowned GGG stans and reminded them that Canelo kicked his ass when they fought, particularly in the rematch, if that's what you mean by dissed GGG.

Find a single post of mine that suggests that I didn't rate GGG or respect him as a future or past threat to Canelo. My only agenda if you can call it one is combating the idea that is perpetuated by so many on here that Canelo never really truly beat GGG and didn't deserve the decisions of a draw and a win, the latter of which it seems you would agree with me on with you saying that you had Canelo winning the rematch. I have full and total respect for GGG as a competitor and as a threat for Canelo. And I don't think much has changed in the last 4 years to indicate that GGG has drastically declined to a point that it will be any easier for Canelo to beat him this time.

We seen what happened with 39 year old Marquez KOing prime and much younger Pacquiao out cold, we seen 40 year old Pacquiao knock down prime and much younger Thurman and beat him by decision. We seen Canelo just get outpointed by Bivol, we have a ton of people who think GGG did enough to beat Canelo both times but didn't get the decisions. Canelo losing to Bivol may even play on the minds of the judges, possibly making it easier for GGG to win close rounds this time in the minds of the judges. It would be foolish to not take GGG seriously as a major threat to Canelo especially with him coming off a loss. People who discount GGG's chances because he's 40 don't know boxing and what can happen in this sport.

You seem to know GGG, you see what I see. He is quietly waiting for his moment.
