Brock is 6'2... Are you honestly trying to tell me that Wlad clinches against taller opponents as much as he does shorter ones? Watch the McCline, Jefferson, Austin, Wach, Pianeta, and 2nd TT fight... Wlad is much more offensive against heavyweights who are 6'4 and above, especially ones 6'5 and above like the ones I listed... TT was extremely awkward in the first fight, took Wlad a while to figure him out.

 

That's a pretty fair post. :good Wlad would have every incentive to keep it at range and keep popping jabs at and around that crossarm defence Foreman used. If Foreman gets in close, yeah, Wlad will clinch. But the thing is that even if Foreman managed to somehow land something big, I just don't think that he has the footwork or speed to finish Wlad off. Wlad UD is a very likely outcome, and probably in a boring fight at that. Young Foreman, well, that's a different beast entirely I think. :bbb But 39 y/o Klitschko is waaay better than 39 y/o Foreman.

Wlad couldn't out box Mormek from range. In the first round alone , he clinched more times than he landed punches.

Thats about 19 clinches and barely a punch landed. Against Mormeck of all people.

It means a Larry Holmes type performance , constantly on the back foot out boxing a guy without ever being in range of the other opponent.

I think the Wach fight is a good template, Wlad vs big slow hw and giving him a beating. Maybe George would struggle to absorb the shots over 12. He might survive the 12 though, depends how kind Wlad is.

 

Foreman is the one that exhausts
He had big stamina issues that the American press
kept secret
If George throws punches like ALI fight he gets KO'd by himself again- 8th-9th round or knocked out by a big punch that Ali didn't have.
