Herrera is coming forward, jabbing and power-flurrying. Zavaleta tries to remain calm and disciplined, timing his own left jabs as he turns inward and attempts to slip and catch shots on his shoulder/back. BIG KNOCKDOWN BY HERRERA. 1-2, kerplunk. Zavaleta gets up and circles a bit, but Herrera presses in and gets him on the ropes. Herrera unloads. Zavaleta has nothing for him. Just taking shots.

Mijares jabs with his right, circling to his own right. Julio just stands and blocks, no longer looking so cocky. Body shots by Mijares, and Julio loses even more swagger. Julio is pushed into a corner, left uppercut by Mijares. Right jab, left cross by Mijares. Julio on the ropes. Mijares bobs side to side. Body shots by Mijares, right hooks and straight lefts. Mijares is looking very sharp. Julio obliges Mijares by circling clockwise, just the way Mijares wants to go. Mijares squats under a few lazy jabs from Julio. Mijares is pumping the right jab steadily, bobbing and dipping his shoulders on the outside.
