    He took way too many shots ,instead of always leaning forward he should think about stepping back from time to time.

    I rewatched this sparring and I noticed that 3G was putting a good work. His shots ( left hooks , uppercuts and straight right hands ) were landing at will on Jr's face/head.

    Also I saw that Jr connected some good left hooks to the body of 3G. The kid is tough, no doubt.

    The problem is that Jr at this moment is a LHW fighter, not even a smw. I saw the weigh in for the Vera fight and Jr @ 170 or whatever he weighed looked drained, so I suppose that he's a LHW. So a possible fight with 3G is far to happen IMO. Thats pretty sad cuz both fighters have the right style to give a very entertaining fight. I'm curious how much punishment would Jr be capable to take from 3G into a fight and how many left hooks to the body would be capable to take 3G from Jr ? :think

    From your description somebody can get an impression that the session was even, which was NOT. Chavez Jr. got hit way too many times.

    indeed Jr was tagged a lot but he maneged to land some good left hooks to 3G's body. We already know that Jr has a strong chin but we don't know yet how strong is 3G's body ? :think

    Chavez was doing NOTHING

    Just left hooks lol...

    Such a basic plodder... Uses his size, chin and power to win fights...He's like Rios.

    Pretty much how Chavez will fight tonight - Do no work in the early round then get some body work in and pressure for the second half of the round, by round 6-8 his opponent will really start to be feeling it and probably end up on the canvas

    both guys were clearly holding back

    that said, there is absolutely no way Jr could take that many shots from GG in an official fight

    How anyone could score Chavez winning that sparring session is beyond me GGG won almost every round convincingly...thank God for the Head Gear.!!!!
