well he may be able to make some noise at 160....as long as he stays away from abraham

but yeah.....he was a Hype Job, and now the jokes over because the boy got THOROUGHLY exposed

I strongly disagree. I think if Arum lines up Rubio, then maybe another light defense at 160, Kelly will be able to rationalize the defeat away as a combination of the weight, a lack of experience, and fighting an absolute legend.

That destruction can ruin a young guy... and that's what I see here.
    My opinion...

I think 3 million is always worth it.

I think he can go back down to 160 and regin comfortably, I think having his limitations shown has made a possible Abraham fight more interesting but sadly I see no value is a Calzaghe Pavlik match now and Pavlik was the guy I wanted Calzaghe to retire on, nevermind, he'll just have to make do with Old Jones Jr.

if that was at his weight, 160lbs, then get an asswhooping like that, then yes, I could say you have a point, but not in this scenario. Its just showing him that Hopkins still have juice, and that 170lbs aint for him

I said this before and I will say it now.. Abraham will knock him the **** out, straight up.. Hop was landing hooks all night, Abraham may not be able to land them as well as Hop, but when he does, its night time.. And he knows how to finish, unlike JT..

Im interested in seeing Pavlik fight again, to say the least.

lets see what pavlik has in his heart and his balls. a fight like that could ruin a man like it did with lacy but i hope he comes back better and stronger. i am not a pavlik fan and thought he was a hype job but he is an exciting fighter and i hope he has more to show

There is no shame in losing against Hopkins, especially a Hopkins who came so close to Calzaghe the fight before, who has reason to believe he's #1 P4P.

the thing is his hype train was building him up to be the next legend and p4p greatest fighter......and it proved that at best he'll be a title holder

so like i said his "career" isn't over because he can still beat those B-class fighters in the Middleweight division....but he best not stray from the kiddie pool and head north to 168, or 175.....

so basically he's not monster he was made out to be, which will heavily effect his career, but it's not like he's over......this is just a case of getting exposed

:huh why ?? If anything Kelly should learn from this fight and know that he needs more skill sets to his game then just power punching and pressure.

The fact that Kelly can't fight at a angles or has problem with fighter that give him angles should set off a 911 call in his camp, hopefully they can correct this mistake in the gym and be a better fighter .

Remember Kelly still has the belts and really no one at 160 to fight other then Abraham , but any thoughts of him facing guys like Bute and Dawson are out of the question right now.

how is he a hype man, hopkins was too good, too fast.

abraham would possibly lose if he decides to trade with pavlik.
how can you be a hype job when you defeat everyone in you're path, all the dangerous fighters like miranda. then beat the champ twice.

HOW THE **** IS HE A HYPE JOB AFTER ALL HE HAS DONE??????????
WHEN COTTO LOSES, FANS START YELLING HYPE JOB OR EXPOSED.
THERE COMES A STAGE IN A FIGHTERS CAREER WHERE HE HAS PASSED THE HYPE JOB PHASE, THEN WHEN HE LOSES, ITS JUST A LOST COS FIGHTERS CAN LOSE!

it doesnt mean he has been exposed or was a hype job...
