This is my list. Agree or disagree it is up to you. Pound for pound lists are subjective. That being said if you disagree you are wrong. My current top Pound for Pound 1. Floyd Mayweather Jr. 2. Manny Pacquiao 3. Shane Mosley 4. Chad Dawson 5. Wald Klitchko 6. Lucian Bute 7. Juan Manuel Marquez 8. Sergio Martinez 9. Paul Williams 10. Vatali Klitchko. :rasta
1. Floyd Mayweather Jr. 2. Manny Pacquiao 3. Chad Dawson 4. Wladimir Klitschko 5. Vitali Klitschko 6. Paul Williams 7. Sergio Martinez 8. Ivan Calderon 9. Juan Manuel Marquez 10. Andre Dirrell (FTW!)
Its all good apart from Bute??? he has not beat anyone that could be ranked in the top 10 of his division apart from Andrade who would be 9-10 at best. I would not have him in the top 25.
I'd probably have David Haye higher p4p than Vitali Klitschko. Vitali beats him in a fight, but p4p I think Haye edges it
Thats a good list, mine is similar 1)Floyd Mayweather 2)Manny Pacquiao 3)Sugar Shane Mosley 4)Chad Dawson 5)Juan Manuel Marquez 6)Sergio Martinez 7)Paul Williams 8)Ivan Calderon(one of the best pure boxers in the world and undefeated world junior-flyweight champion) 9)Chris John 10) Celestino Caballero
1. Pacquiao 2. Mayweather 3. Mosley 4. Dawson 5. Williams 6. Wlad Klitscko 7. Martinez 8. Calderon 9. John 10. Donaire 11. Hasegawa 12. Braldey 13. Hopkins 14. JM Marquez 15. Cotto 16. Vitali Klitscko 17. Darchinyan 18. Wonjongham 19. Ward 20. Froch 21. Berto 22. Haye 23. Alexander 24. Guzman 25. Gamboa all better records and more talent than Bute. also you gotta realsie this, Butes team were offered a place in the super 6 and good money for a Froch fight and said no.
Bute is a good fighter, well schooled and solid fundamentals. he has good speed and power and I like that he goes to the body, but his resume isnt good enough to get a top ten spot. If it was based on talent he'd be top 10-15 maybe but you have to consider accomplishments as well. 168 is too deep for him to be top ten p4p with other guys beating better opposition.
good list, but he wasn't offer to to take place in the super six. As for the Froch fight, if he would of taken that fight, people would have said that he is ducking Andrade. Finally. Bute fought Sakio Bika in 2007 because CarlFroch wanted no part of him
Nonito Donaire is top 10 to you?:? I agree with you about Bute. I think the guy is a bum, personally. But, you gotta have that guy in your top 20 over a guy like Cotto who is coming off a weight changing loss.
