Personally I think Golovkin should take it for boxing and his bank accounts sake. However I would sort of understand if he'd just decided that he'd moved on from the whole Canelo dog and pony show and just focussed on beating the top fighters out there- BJS, Charlo, Murata, Dev would be a hell of a way to end his career. Canelo and Oscar have shown themselves to be underhand and unprofessional at best - at worst some might call them lying cheats - throughout his interactions with them so he may well be thinking F them and their contaminated cash.
