Yeah but they have hagler vs hearns, there are some really epic matches in both groups that can be considered classics.
Well even though I believe the fab four were better pound for pound the only trilogy in their was duran leonard which wasnt all that great and the only exciting decisions were Hagler Leonard + Leonard Hearns. The mexicans and pac all thought to at least one decision each and gave it their all through 12 rounds with the only knockouts coming from the hands of the now pound for pound king unless Marquez somehow does the impossible in december . . . . or Barrera and Morales go at it one last time ( heres hoping ) but there was never really a dull fight. I wanted to say the fab four as the knockouts from Hagler-Hearns, Hearns-Duran and Hearns-Leonard were all shocking . . . but I prefer to see 12 round wars, so for me its the younger fighters who pull out the narrow (very narrow) Victory
They were all classics evenly matched in most cases. Knockouts are cool, but wars that went back and forth for 12-15 rounds are just as great. My fav is Duran-Leonard, I don't see any WW in history beating him that night, but SRL still held his ground. Jmm-Pacman has a fighter making the best comeback I have ever seen aside from Corrales-Castillo. But if there was any real animosity that would make Duran proud its Barrera-Morales I. Brutal. I think their first 2 fights took alot out of them like Vasquez-Marquez did. Hagler-Hearns just unreal.
As a Pac fan, I'm going with the 4 kings. That was a golden age when they were all fighting at the same time. 3+1 doesn't even come close.
