SuzieQ49, though I know with Wlads style of holding and poping out the jab and wearing the guy out late like he has been doing lately, were would you rank Wlad(And this could happen with Wlad's power) if he flattens Haye in a round.

Very highly. I always thought Wlad was a two fisted assasin with a big right hand, and underrated left hook. In the late 1990s he used to throw combinations better than Lennox lewis.

I agree, I think he wants Haye but Haye and his people figure time is a friend for them. If Vlad goes through that list impressively, and ends his career with those wins under his belt I will have reevaluate his status. These are all very good fighters, Haye has speed and power, Povetkin is a pressure fighter, If Adamak is still on top another good fight and Valuev if he is still on top. Out of the young prospects I like Kubrat Pulev the most, looks to have good ring skills and decent power and a weird powerful left jab, hook,, Pulev may be ready in 12-18 months at the rate of his progress, fighting once a month. I like his size and attitude.

If Vlad goes through this list it is no easy task and I will have to take a close look at his placement

I agree. Chicken Haye will continue running of a fight with a Klitschko. Damned fool, even when losing this would be the payday of his life and when he wins it would be big. Very big.

Oh we have a Klit-ite in our midst :patsch

Of course WALDO ducking Purrity and Sanders won't enter into this discussion right.....WALDO is a big brave warrior who takes on all comers...until they beat him and then he gets his big brother to take care of business, right.

Don't knock Haye, look deep into the soul of the guy you idolise, is all I can say. When Haye finally fights WALDO it's gonna be lights out again and the bull**** excuses will all come to the fore, yet again :nut

Wlad is definitely a better fighter than his brother.

Wlad did take care of Brewster. That was one lost he took care of with out his big brother's help.

Does it really matter if he would have given a rematch to Purrity? Personally, I don´t think so. Purrity was a journeyman who got lucky. Did Conn avenge every of his early defeats? Or Dick Tiger?

Sanders ... well, Vitali get´s critizised for fighting him because Sanders "was a golfer" and a "part time boxer". Would this any different for Wlad?

Avenging losses is great but many fighters who are greater than Wlad didn´t do this and people make no fuss about it. But it is with Wlad. Either it´s a double standard or Lewis set a new one.

Even as an Archie Moore fan, I have to ask how he is on that list for heavyweights, and Frazier isn't. :patsch

The trouble is Haye and Povetkin do not want to fight him. Haye balked, and Povetkin might lose his mandatory if he doesn't step up and take the fight.

I know you hate Vitali with a passion, but Wlad said he was the better fighter. Wlad's four toughest fights were Sanders, Brewster, Purrity, and Peter, Vitali dominated these guys ( did not fight Brewster ), while Wlad lost to 3 out of 5, and had his hands full with the other one.

I think Wlad is already top 20.

Haye is hyped like a British Rocky Balboa, except he won't take the fight and the money because he knows Klitschko is going to knock him out.

I really hope Haye grows a pair and takes a fight with either Klitschko. I will be here to provide you a " Klitschko fan quote of the week " :)
