Ever intimidated by what your opponent looked like, or his reputation, S?

I never really think before the bell goes and if I do it's more like a 'Here it goes' thought.

Everytime. If you ain't scared, you're a fool. Though I stopped young, I doubt this ever changes.

From boxing junior to senior recently, I have been getting less 'scared' by my opponents, odd but thats the way it is.

It depends on my level of experience/cockyness but may usually go back and forth between a variety of themes 'you don't really have to go out there tell them you've got a chronic stomach ache', 'stop being a *****', 'this is going to be easy', 'box clever', 'steam in and land that wild overhand right'. The nerves largely evaporate once your in the ring and getting stuck in, when your inexperienced the task isn't nearly as daunting as you build it up to be in your head, providing you haven't been put in over your head

Ever have an opponent that looked like he could shred Godzila, only to discover he was easy pickins for you?

I'm the most nervous just before the opening bell, but once it rings I am still a bit nervous. The nervousness wears off once the actual boxing commences but the fear that everybody feels when they're fighting remains.

A bit of both I guess. I know I can take a good punch, so the fear of getting dropped is not very prevelant. It's more fear of getting some injury that will potentially last for the rest of my life (damaged eye, badly broken nose, real bad cut, etc). I also obviously have the fear of losing or having the other guy think that he got the better of me.

I just think "To the end" and get to it.

I have a somewhat indifferent attitude about it because i spent so many hours training for this very moment and fear would just cause my adrenaline surge to drain my energy prior to the fight itself.
