Haye did bring excitement to the division imo.
He just wasn't good enough to get the job done when it really counted.
However he didn't get dominated the way some people on here would like you to believe.
Wlad clearly won the fight but he didn't dominate a single round and couldn't drop supposedly glass jawed Haye.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl x 10000000 to the 100th power @ this thread. . . .

Hahahahah. . 5-star, A+ thread. . . Chisora was right when he said Haye ruined Sky for future English boxers. . .

His pathetic run at HW. . . His DISGRACEFUL fight against Valuev, in which he LITERALLY set the record for least amount of punches thrown, and landed in a championship fight. . . Although it was funny when he made Valuev do a lil stanky leg.

Going life and death for a round with Monte "TWO GUNZ" Barrett. . .

Literally, he's probably the biggest disgrace to boxing. . .

Most of us lot saw exactly what was going to happen in the Klitschko fight - he came to get paid, and hopefully survive so he can say "he couldn't knock me out"

Such a disgrace to his fellow English pugs, like Froch, Hatton, and Khan who actually give the fans good fights. . . English boxing is pretty solid right now, and it's SOOOO much better off without Haye. . .

His best purpose in life is to be Amir Khan's cheerleader. . . HAHA i was watching Khan/Maidana the other day, and Lampley's foreshadowing comment: "And there's David Haye, in his signature black cowboy hat, STANDING UP, MAKING A LOT OF NOISE AS USUAL. . . " BWhahahahahah Lamps straight CLOWNING his ass.

He made a mistake fighting Wladimir instead of Vitali. He thought Wladimir was the fragile one but that was long time ago.

nor did haye do 1 single damn thing he said he was for 3 years after he called out, backed out, chased, finally signed , got into the ring...and now its Wlads fault according to you. Its hard to knock out someone whos goal it is just to not be knocked out..... his excitement was a 10 for the first 8 months...then the full of **** facotr kicked in, dropped to a 5, down to a 1 by fight night..and his performance was a 2.

Yes, as much flack as Haye gets, keep in mind Wlad has not had a black eye in years. Nor has he went the distance in years. Nor has anyone been that hard to hit, even with him standing right in front of Wlad. I think even Wlad admitted Haye was the hardest to hit of anyone he's fought, bar none.
And it was not all due to distance. Some exchanges were with Haye right in front of Wlad, and he was still slipping punches like noone I'd seen Wlad fight.
Haye, even though he failed to live up to his mouthing, did give Wlad the hardest test he's had since the first Peter fight.

    :good

Most seem to forget that as they are too busy with the Haye bashing.

Hardest test since the Peter fight?

I wouldnt call it that...punches were actually landed in the Peter fight.

Haye does not have great defense other wise it would have been on display in numerous other fights. His goal was to make it through the fight and not get KO'd.He never tried to win.

Haye's glass jaw will always let him down in big fights - which is why he didn't really fight Klitschko. If he ever has the balls to get in the ring again with a decent fighter, he's getting starched for sure.

    Why did he pull out?
He may have stated it was a back injury but everyone knows it was because setanta was paying all his purse for the Wlad fight and they went under.

What did I blame on Wlad????
