Sultan and Thompson did better against Wlad than Haye did. Tony Thompson: 150-408 37% Sultan Ibragimov: 97-316 31% David Haye: 72-290 25%
Haye did nothing he said he would. He said he would be the savior of the HW division. He had like only 6 fights against limited opposition. That did nothing for the division. Plus most of Haye's fights were boring. He is the definition of a one punch stalker. He didnt save the division he was not a very good heavyweight champ or contender. He has a big mouth and a broken toe. **** Haye.
But the shots Haye did land, one in particular, stunned Wlad to where he had to hold on and ride Haye round the ring for 12 seconds. Also, Wlad nailed both Sultan and Thompson often enough and hard enough to put both of them down. I don't think he did manage to drop Haye with a punch. And Haye was still a threat all the way to the final round when he stunned Wlad. Thompson was KOed, and even though it went the distance, Sultan was completely outmatched in every way. And I say again, Haye did better than anyone Wlad has fought since the first Peter fight. Hardest to hit (even standing directly in front of Wlad), and the most lethal combination of speed and power WLad has EVER faced. I openly say this, and I am a Wlad fan, first and foremost. But I still call em like I see em.
I'm not saying Haye doesn't have the skills, it's because of his lack of heart that he lost if Haye had the heart and balls, he'd have a real chance to beat Wlad, and wouldn't have to use his trash-mouth to try and get a fight with Vitali
