Foreman was big in the 70s when he beat up guys who'd be CWs today. 40 year old fat Foreman would look small, plodding and helpless against 40 year old lean Wlad.

    This. ^

Old Foreman is simply not as good as Old Wlad.

And frankly if he was ...

would be crazy, because Wlad has been in shape and boxing for the years that Foreman took off, exercising his burger-munching skills.

    Boxed Ears is 100% right.

Wlad would potshot him from the outside all night long and should Foreman actually get in range Dr Octopus would be all over him with his manyfold tentacles to smother the life out of George, and the fight. Wlad would probably not even try for the KO, not unless Foreman somehow miraculously managed to force a shootout with him. The fight would be horrible, and afterwards everybody would talk about how boring Wlad is (sadly, it's mostly true) and how shot Foreman was.

    I just did.

90% of OLD Foreman's competition are a bunch of cans or small guys. He lost vs top guys like Morrison, Holyfield and Briggs. He has one good (maybe excellent) win over Moorer and three reasonable wins vs Coetzer, Schultz and Savarese.

Since 2012 (which seems a reasonable a period) Wlad disposed of Povetkin and Pulev who I think are better wins than anybody on Old Foreman's run with the possible exception of Moorer. Tony Thompson is another excellent fighter who could be argued to be on that level.

Jennings, Pianeta, Mormeck and Wach are all solid wins, arguably better than Coetzer, Schultz, Savarese. Three of those guys had their 0's popped by Wlad.

Wlad lost to Fury, who I would 95% expect Old Foreman to lose to as well.

    To sum up:

Foreman has a great deal more wins during that period. His better wins are decent.
Wlad has a lot less wins, but the overall level is higher. He also has one loss compared to three.

    I'll take Wlad's fight streak.

you never even seen a 40 year old Wlad in the ring you stupid deluded fanboi. Old Wlad at 38 lost to Fury and struggled with Jennings who was nothing but a pillow fisted novice. Wlad right now would be even worse than himself 2 years ago.
Those versions get eaten alive by Foreman, there is nothing and i mean NOTHING to suggest this 40 year old version who hadn't the bottle to face a 17 fight prospect would beat Foreman.
And yes , 40 y/o Foreman would also destroy Joshua.

Wlad gets battered in the exact same way the stiff upright Coetzer did. Wlad did not move around the ring better than Coetzer and if he got the career beaten out of him , what do you think will happen to Wlad whose chin wouldn't be able to take more than 1-2 blows?..

Oh yeah , i forgot ... Wlad simply reaches out and grabs hold of George for 12 rounds straight !! :risas3::risas3:
Like how he done to Fury right ? But Fury didn't play along and broke free and fed him hooks. Don't remember that do you?

    Here , refresh your memory.

Poor Wlad had to turn his back and run away after his bollox dropped out his trucks. Without Tony Weeks in there to protect him , he would have been spread all over the canvas. And that was against feather fisted Fury.:meparto:

Imagine if that was a Foreman jab landing here..:eeek::eeek::eeek:

Truth...Foreman fought in a Heavyweight Era we will never see the likes of again....If Wlad was born in that era he would not be Top 10.....Ali...Frazier....Liston....Shavers etc would Toy with Him.!!!

we actually dont know, since walds not fought at 40. You'd expect him to have depreciated since his last fight - that of being unable to cope with an opportunistic prospect with zero valid wins. So we could surmise from that, he'd now at 40 be unable to cope with a lesser prospect like a guy ranked number 11-20.

40something (that is,much older) george won a version of the HW title, by comparison.

    theres no comparison.

By sheer luck, not by skill. George lost 9 rounds, got beat up by former LHW Michael Moorer. Then George got lucky landing a single right hand on Moorer's suspect chin to win the belt. It's luck. It's called a lucky punch. Nothing else.

Now you want to give Foreman credit for being lucky so be it. But please stop arguing that he achieved something special. Only nationalistic US pundits believe that. Fact is that Foreman's 2nd comeback in the mid/late 90s was a FARCE.

The only person calling it lucky is YOU. If that was luck , then every one shot knock out in history was just a lucky punch:facepalm:

It says it all about the type of boxing fan you are when you call a Foreman a farce. The man fought ATG holyfield at 42. He fought savage knock out artist Morrison at 44. He challenged Moorer at 45 and became lineal champion.

At 40 Wlad was scared chit-less to step in the ring with a novice 17 fight title holder to try regain a portion of the championship. Holyfield , Moorer and Morrison were a cut above Joshua. Not even in the same ball park.
Some boxing fan you are calling a true ATG a farce. You're a K2 jock-riding fanboi and not a real fan of this sport:flipa:

Ortiz exposed Wlad as an overrated fraud. He couldn't control an actual security guard , therefore he isn't controlling Foreman with " jabs and 1-2s"

A Wlad at 40 that never proved anything other than the fact he was scared to fight a prospect is greater than comeback Foreman.??
Never , ever forget what you have just said :smash2::smash2::smash2::roto2lol::roto2lol:
